Biography

Kimberly is a seasoned leader with nearly 37 years of experience in the association, meetings, and technology industries. As co-founder and President of TREX since 1993, she has built an exceptional career as a forward-thinking industry executive, seamlessly collaborating with for-profit and non-profit organizations, their members, boards of directors, industry partners, and volunteers. In addition to her leadership at TREX, Kimberly has served as Executive Director of the Skin of Color Society since 2017, where she is deeply committed to advancing the organization’s mission of promoting awareness of and excellence within the field of skin of color dermatology, through research, education, mentorship, and advocacy.

Her extensive leadership experience spans both domestic and international teams, with roles including Executive Director, Project Manager, Headquarters & Administrative Manager, and Registration Manager—underscoring her adaptability, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Kimberly earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, graduating with a double major in Communications and English.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kimberly embraces an adventurous and active lifestyle. She enjoys cycling, archery, rock climbing, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, and golf, always seeking new challenges and experiences that reflect her energy and passion for life.
