OUR TEAM
The staff of T-REX has been providing services to the meeting, association and travel industries for over 14 years. The following are our team members biographies:
- Kimberly Miller
She has provided registration/housing services, association management, software solutions, support and training since 1987. As the Manager of Meeting and Association Services for MoorEvents, Kimberly coordinated registration, housing and exposition programs for the Security Traders Association (5 meetings/year; average attendance 250-500), National Committee for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (International meeting; 2,500 attendees), International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics (International meeting, 1,700 attendees - 100 exhibits), Midwest DB2 Users Group (5 meetings/year; average attendance 150), Indiana Society of Chicago (1 meeting/year; average attendance 500), and the Chicago and New York Antiquarian Book Fairs. As founder of T-REX, she has coordinated registration, housing and exposition programs for the Illinois Home Care Council (2 meetings/year; average attendance 250-500), Federation International Gynecologic Obstetricians (International meeting; 8,500 attendees), the Indiana Society of Chicago Annual Dinner (1 meeting/year; 1,500 attendees) and W.W. Grainger (3 meetings/year; average attendance 200-250).
- Jeff Miller
He has experience working with both not-for-profit and corporate clients and has been involved in the housing/registration and hospitality industries for over eleven years. As Manager of Housing and Registration for Premier Group, Jeff coordinated programs for nationally known organizations such as Apollo Travel Services (semi-annual conference; 4,000 attendees), Future Business Leaders of America (7 meetings/year; 1,000 - 2,000 attendees) and the National Association of Independent Insurers (15 meetings/year; 100 - 200 attendees / annual meeting; 2,000 attendees).
- Steven Jacobs, CMP
He has enjoyed a varied career in hotel operations and sales and meeting management since 1982. After 6 years working with Westin Hotels & Resorts and Stouffer Hotels where he represented Stouffer Hotels worldwide, Steve directed meeting management operations at Premier Group, Conference Solutions, and T-REX. Over the years, Steve has overseen a volunteer/paid staff of up to 100 and been responsible for meeting budgets in excess of 5 million annually with attendees ranging from 100 to 4,000.
- Jane Decaire
She comes to the organization from Travel Technology Group, a leader in the group/housing and meeting services arena. At TTG, Jane was the Manager of the Registration Department and was responsible for clients such as: the American Financial Services Association (5 meetings/year; average attendance of 500-1,000), National Housewares Association (Annual International Meeting & Exposition; average attendance 50,000), the International Sportfishing Expo (Annual Meeting; average attendance 8,500) and the American Bar Association (4 meeting/year; average attendance 300-800). Jane understands diverse clients with diverse needs and has handled every facet of a registration or housing program.
